Supporting a Friend by Filming Her Mother’s Funeral

Filming a Funeral with Sahara Funerals Sydney

A good friend from university reached out and asked me to film her mum’s funeral after she had passed away suddenly. It was a big shock for the family, and while the day was tough, it was important for me to be there for my friend when she needed support.

On the day, I captured the service with sensitivity, making sure the family would have a record of the many moments of love, support and respect shown by those who gathered. Having a video of the day provides comfort and a way for the family to reflect when they’re ready.

This was also my first time working with Sahara Funerals, who specialise in Indian funerals. Their professionalism and care for the family was evident throughout, and I’m grateful to them for the way they guided the day.

I have just viewed, and so beautifully filmed. This is so special to have, not only for us but for a great many family members unable to attend, from Europe and Ireland. I was impressed by your complete professionalism and caring nature.
