St James' Church, Sydney

Late last year I had the honour of capturing a very special service for the most senior surviving officer with Second World War service. I was asked by the family to record the full service and military procession from the church to the Cenotaph at Martin Place.

St James’ Church in the city is a beautiful church to film in. I had my challenges in capturing the 3 events in the one day, though with some forward planning and being quick on my feet I was able to capture all the key moments.

Many thanks to Janette from TJ Andrews Funeral Services who conducted the service.

Feedback from family:

‘Dear Michelle,

Thank you so much.

I am sure we will all take some solace in this video in years to come and what a memory it will be for the future generation.

Kind regards Barb'

I have just viewed, and so beautifully filmed. This is so special to have, not only for us but for a great many family members unable to attend, from Europe and Ireland. I was impressed by your complete professionalism and caring nature.
