St Brigid’s Catholic Church, Coogee
I headed out to Coogee for this funeral service, which honoured a former President of Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club, who was well known in the east in surf rescue circles.
One of the deceased’s sons resides in New York and couldn’t attend, so the family thought they’d send him a recording of his dad’s service.
Held at the beautiful St Brigid’s Catholic Church in Coogee, the deceased was honoured by the surf club by having a boat named after him.
Music used during the service was sung by the deceased, which was a nice personal touch.
