The daughter of the deceased contacted me through our website, wanting to have the chapel service filmed for  family in England, Scotland and Australia who couldn’t attend, as well as a keepsake for her and her mother.

I also spoke to the wife of the deceased who wanted particular details captured, such as the beautiful red roses and wedding pictures on the coffin. She chose our Premium Videography Package (3 camera coverage during the service, plus footage before and after the service set to music of the family’s choice). She decided that she wanted the best possible coverage on a day that would be quite emotional for her.

The day was emotional, but it went well. There was a beautiful moment when family members approached the coffin and each took a rose to keep, which I managed to capture on 3 different camera angles.

It’s an honour to relive the stress from families by capturing the day for them. It allows them to look back on the funeral at a later time which helps with the healing process.
