A Beautiful Farewell for Sharon: Funeral Video Recording

We were honoured to provide funeral videography services for a very special service conducted by Josh from Jeffrey Bros Funeral Services, held for his late Aunt Sharon.

This day was a true family effort. Josh’s sister, Courtney, who also works in the funeral industry, donated her time to support the family. Together, they created a heartfelt farewell that was filled with meaning, love, and personal touches.

The colour yellow, Sharon’s favourite, featured throughout the day. Guests were invited to wear yellow, the coffin was adorned with stunning yellow flowers, and both the funeral directors and celebrant, Marilyn Morse, wore yellow blooms. The effect was uplifting and beautiful, setting a warm and loving tone.

At the front of the room, a striking easel with a photo of Sharon was surrounded by flowers, creating a touching focal point. Loved ones were also given the opportunity to sign the coffin and leave personal messages, a meaningful gesture that gave family and friends a way to say their final goodbyes.

For Josh and Courtney, conducting the funeral for their own family member was deeply emotional. They balanced their grief with professionalism, ensuring everything was taken care of while honouring their beloved Aunt Sharon.

It was a privilege to capture this celebration of life service on video, so that family and friends could revisit the memories and those unable to attend could still feel part of the day.

Location: Forest Lawn Memorial Park

I have just viewed, and so beautifully filmed. This is so special to have, not only for us but for a great many family members unable to attend, from Europe and Ireland. I was impressed by your complete professionalism and caring nature.
