Unique Funeral Service on the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler, Jamisontown

I recently attended a truly special funeral service on a particularly hot day in Jamisontown, where Nepean Valley Funerals partnered with the Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler to create a unique and personalised farewell for the family. The ceremony took place onboard the paddlewheeler, offering a memorable and meaningful way to honour their loved one.

With a large turnout, audio equipment was set up along the riverbank so everyone could hear the service. To provide relief from the heat, the deceased’s workplace also arranged marquees along the water, ensuring guests could remain comfortable throughout the day.

I was asked to take funeral photography for both Nepean Valley Funerals, to showcase their service options to other families, and for the family to keep as a lasting memory. The wife was particularly grateful to have professional photos capturing the special day.
