Funeral Videography at St James’ Church, Sydney – Honouring a WWII Veteran

Funeral Videography – St James’ Church, Sydney

Late last year, I had the privilege of capturing a very special funeral service for the most senior surviving officer with Second World War service. The family requested that the full service, as well as the military procession from St James’ Church, Sydney to the Cenotaph at Martin Place, be recorded so that all key moments could be preserved for posterity.

St James’ Church in Sydney’s CBD is a stunning venue for filming, though capturing three significant events in one day presented its challenges. With careful planning and a quick, adaptable approach, I was able to document every meaningful moment of the service, from the church ceremony to the solemn military tribute in the city streets.

The service was beautifully conducted by Janette from TJ Andrews Funeral Services, and the family was extremely appreciative of the final video:

“Dear Michelle, Thank you so much. I am sure we will all take some solace in this video in years to come and what a memory it will be for the future generation.” – Barb

Providing funeral videography in Sydney for such a meaningful occasion was a true honour, ensuring that future generations can remember and celebrate the life of a remarkable individual.

I have just viewed, and so beautifully filmed. This is so special to have, not only for us but for a great many family members unable to attend, from Europe and Ireland. I was impressed by your complete professionalism and caring nature.
