Last month I worked with a family to create a tribute video for their loved one who had passed. They also enlisted my help with running Audio Visual on the day.

I met with the family at my Newtown office, and we went through the process of selecting photos for making the tribute video. They had both hard copies which I scanned, and digital copies which they emailed to me. I talked them through the process as we created the video, and helped them pick the music.

After finishing the video and providing them with a USB copy, the family mentioned that they also had (a LOT of!) photographs that they wanted to play at the wake. Together we managed to trim down the best photos and remove any duplicates. I then setup up their personal laptop so it was ready to play their photos as a slideshow for the wake.

They also wanted someone in charge of running the audio visual on the day, and asked me to step in and help. I played the entry and exit music on the day, as well as the tribute video and setup their laptop to play the slideshow at the wake. It was a beautiful service and everything ran smoothly on the day.
