Working with Joseph Medcalf in the East

May was a busy month for Funeral Video Australia - and we were lucky enough to be working with the Joseph Medcalf team for two services in the Eastern Suburbs.

The first service we filmed was at the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park in Matraville. The family chose our Premium Videography package, which means 3 camera coverage during the service, as well as footage before and after the service, capturing moments such as relatives and friends arriving.

I ran the Audio Visual setup and operation on the day, which included a 72 inch TV, laptop, speakers, microphone, and audio mixer. The family also requested photography, so when I wasn’t filming, I was busy on taking shots on my stills camera.

Meanwhile, videographer Troy filmed a service at the scenic Nurses War Memorial Chapel in Little Bay, finishing with the burial at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park.

At the end of the chapel service, there was a procession through the park to the graveside, led by Bagpiper Todd Ridgeway (Red Beard Music).

Both families received a USB Keepsake with the video and photos of their service, as well as a private webpage link of the video to share with family and friends.

Celebrant Paul Young officiated both services and ensured proceedings ran smoothly.

Big thanks to Michelle Fisher from Joseph Medcalf who took care of the families and is always a pleasure to work with.

I have just viewed, and so beautifully filmed. This is so special to have, not only for us but for a great many family members unable to attend, from Europe and Ireland. I was impressed by your complete professionalism and caring nature.
