Wanda Surf Life Saving Club

Last month I headed down to Cronulla to film this beautiful funeral service celebrating the life a young mother. The scenic Wanda Surf Life Saving Club was a wonderful backdrop for a service that was a celebration of a life well lived, rather than mourning a life that had passed.

Michelle from White Lady Funerals Sutherland referred me to the husband of the deceased, who wanted the funeral filmed for friends in the UK. He chose our Standard Videography package (2 camera coverage of the service + footage before and after the service).

This allowed me to capture so many special moments; the wonderful beach location, the arrival of the hearse & close up details of the bespoke painted coffin, the pallbearers carrying in the coffin, guests arriving. And at the conclusion of the service; guests dancing to the Time Warp (from Rocky Horror Picture Show), family and friends saying goodbye to the deceased, the beautiful dove release, and finally the guard of honour as the hearse departed.
